New Features and Enhancements
Print Daily Bookings from the Studio Calendar
A new Print button is now available on the Studio calendar in both day and week views. Clicking it generates a printable PDF of the selected day’s bookings, formatted as a clear, structured summary that your team can use as a reference sheet at the front desk, in meeting rooms, or anywhere a printed schedule is useful.
The printed format includes all essential booking details time, service, customer name, and staff member - laid out for easy scanning. This is especially helpful for locations that keep a physical copy of the day’s schedule alongside their digital calendar.
Multi-File Document Upload in the Booking Journey
Customers can now upload more than one document when making a booking. Previously, only a single file could be attached per appointment. You can control the maximum number of attachments allowed through a new Maximum attachments setting in the Journey Builder configuration, giving you flexibility to match the requirements of each service.
This is particularly useful for services that require supporting documents - such as identity verification, where customers previously had to combine files before uploading or submit documents separately.
Company and Location Name on Event Cards
Event cards in the Event Journey and on Event Landing Pages now display the company or location name, so customers can immediately see where an event is being held. This information also appears on the booking summary and the landing page header.
For organisations running the same type of event across multiple locations, this removes the ambiguity of identically named events and helps customers find and book the correct one. Long location names are handled gracefully with overflow, and the feature is fully accessible to screen readers.
Studio Improvements
Disabled staff indicator on the Dashboard Calendar: Staff and resources that are currently disabled now show a Disabled badge next to their name on the Dashboard Calendar, matching the indicator already shown on the Staff list page. This makes it easier to spot at a glance which team members are inactive when reviewing the calendar.
US date format for Closed Days: The Closed Days feature now supports the US date format (MM/DD/YY) in addition to the existing UK/European format (DD/MM/YY). The format shown matches your organisation’s regional settings.
Queue Settings terminology update:Â The Queue Settings page in Studio has been updated with clearer, more generic wording to better reflect that the setting applies to all queue types, not just a specific queue mode.
Bug Fixes
Appointments and Scheduling
- Resource availability without shift patterns: Fixed an issue where a resource created without any shift patterns could cause a scheduling error instead of simply showing no available times. Resources without shift patterns now correctly display as unavailable, consistent with how staff members behave in the same situation.
- Staff search after adding a new service: Fixed an issue where creating a new service could cause the staff picker in admin bookings to return no results, even though staff were assigned. Staff assignments are now reflected immediately when a new service is created.
- Incorrect event in public listing: Fixed an issue where an internal session type could appear as a bookable event in the public event listing. Only events intended for public booking are now displayed.
- Timezone in admin-booked confirmation emails: Fixed an issue where booking confirmation emails for appointments created by staff in Studio could show the wrong timezone. Emails now display the customer’s local time and the correct timezone abbreviation (for example, “8:00 am MDT” rather than “9:00 am CDT”).
Exchange Calendar Sync
- Staff deletion and calendar sync cleanup: Fixed an issue where deleting a staff member could leave behind an orphaned Exchange Online calendar mapping, which then blocked the same email address from being used for a new staff member. Staff deletion now reliably removes the associated calendar sync mapping, and any cleanup that cannot complete immediately is retried automatically in the background.
- Calendar sync recovery after token expiry: Fixed an issue where the inbound calendar sync (Outlook to JRNI) could stop working permanently if the authentication token expired. The sync now correctly refreshes the token and resumes automatically without requiring manual intervention.
