🔨Improvements
We made improvements to the overall security of the platform, and improved scheduler performance among the usual bug fixes.
🌟New Journey Builder Features
In the journey builder, we added a new setting that allows to toggle the option to add an additional attendee on the personal details step on or off.
We have now also made it possible to edit the confirmation step in the journey builder. To secure personal data it will be possible to toggle on or off if staff or resource names and details should be visible or not.
Moreover, there is now a feature in the journey builder that allows the personal details to be locked down to "read-only" when the customer passes customer details from their system into our journeys.
Besides, we are now supporting automated adaption (km vs miles) of the distances shown when selecting a location, based on the user locale.
✏️ Fixes
Platform
- Added new auth params support/ SSO encryption to further improve security
- Fixed an API issue where extending a queuer that is currently being served in the queue returns the incorrect status for the serving staff
- Removed a condition tied to returning the person_id
- Database migration to add index to updated at and person_id on attendances table
- Data migration of columns to support the new private/disabled services functionality
- Fixed an issue that caused a single day event to turn into a multi-day event when updating the event date and time
- Fixed an issue with the email audit logs not rendering the emails correctly
- Added the staff reference ID to the capacity table in analytics
Studio
- Added configuration for using refs or IDs in direct links if required
- For events, we added a date range to the related services so that the service can be booked for that range only on event registration
- Made some improvements to the bulk importer for events, by making certain unrequired fields optional instead of required
- In the branding theme builder we have made it possible to colour the button to go back in the journey individually, to make sure it is visible on any background colour
Customer journeys
- We have made some tweaks to remove the duration dropdown in the rescheduling journeys in case there is a different price tied to a duration
- When using a personal booking link the staff info tile on top ”You’re booking with… + Staff image” is now shown on all (service, location, calendar) steps of the journey to ensure the customer always knows which staff he/she/they are booking with, which is especially important when using presets
- Fixed an issue where the country code was missing when navigating back to the details page from the availability page
- Made sure the language picker is not shown if only a single language is available
- For the event booking journey, we made sure that the service availability takes a service schedule into account if set
