🩵New: Enhanced Queuing Management System 2.0

We’re excited to bring new features to JRNI’s Queue Management System (QMS 2.0), designed to streamline your queue operations and improve customer experience. Key enhancements include API support for seamless integrations, soft delete and missed queuer filtering for easier management, and real-time queuing webhooks. You can now transfer queuers, close queues when needed, and link staff with resources directly.

Studio updates include queue settings, disabling the join button for closed queues, refined status messages, and a revamped tracking page that shows staff and resource names. Plus, a new display board (in beta) introduces an improved, user-friendly interface. These updates make managing queues easier than ever!

Platform
  • Continuous work related to the Rails 4 upgrade
  • We've updated the service_item API to allow you to assign one or more resource group IDs when adding a service item, giving you more flexibility and control over resource management
  • Allow the creation of queue only services
  • Support for several Queue Management System(QMS2.0) Enhancements like
    • API support
    • Soft delete of queuers
    • Filter for missed queuers
    • Queuing web-hooks
    • Queue schema form changes
    • Transfer of queuers
    • Closing of the queue
    • Staff-resource association
  • Other bug fixes & general improvements to api response times
Studio
  • Updated the calendar popover, booking page and confirmation modal to include the Teams meeting link
  • Fixed an issue with an 401 error, prompting users to re-login after their token and session have been deleted
  • Relevant Studio updates for queue-only services
  • Introduced all the Queue Management System Enhancements (QMS 2.0) called out under the platform enhancement
  • Further enhancements for QMS2.0 in Studio:
    • Disabling the Join button for closed queue
    • Update to status messages for queuers
    • UI change on the tracking page to show staff and/or resource name\
    • Added a new Display board with improved UX and UI (In Beta)
Customer journeys
  • Made some improvements to the meeting page, shown before joining a virtual appointment
  • Fixed an issue where the customer journey translation was not updated when changing to another language
  • Update adaptable journeys (old customer journeys) for queue only mode
