🗒️Format Tab Section Overview

The Format Tab controls how your chart looks and behaves. Each section uses simple toggles and dropdown menus, making it easy to customize your chart's appearance without technical knowledge. Here are the main sections:

  • Header
    • What it is: The title area at the top of your chart
    • What it does: Sets the chart title and adds helpful descriptions (tooltips)
  • Colors
    • What it is: Color scheme for your chart
    • What it does: Changes the colors of bars, lines, or pie slices to match your preferences
  • Legend
    • What it is: The key that explains what different colors/lines represent
    • What it does: Shows labels and can be positioned on any side of your chart
  • Tooltip
    • What it is: Pop-up information when you hover over chart elements
    • What it does: Shows detailed data values and can include percentages
  • Enable Download
    • What it is: Button to save your chart data
    • What it does: Lets users download chart information as a file
  • Data Labels
    • What it is: Text that appears on or near chart elements
    • What it does: Customizes how values are displayed and labeled in legends
  • URL Link
    • What it is: Clickable button on your chart
    • What it does: Takes users to another webpage when clicked
