Interactive elements make your dashboard dynamic and allow users to filter and control what they see. All interactive elements use simple drag-and-drop to add them to your dashboard, and double-click to configure their settings. Here are the main categories:

  • Controls (User Input Elements)
    • What they are: Elements users can click, select, or type into
    • What they do: Let users change what data appears on the dashboard
  • Date Picker
    • What it is: Calendar selector for choosing dates
    • What it does: Filters data to show only specific time periods (single date or date range)
  • Dropdown
    • What it is: Menu that opens to show a list of options
    • What it does: Lets users select one option from a list (like choosing a product category)
  • Multiselect
    • What it is: Dropdown that allows multiple selections
    • What it does: Lets users pick several options at once (like selecting multiple regions)
  • Toggle
    • What it is: Button-style selector with preset options
    • What it does: Quick way to switch between a few choices (like "Monthly" vs "Yearly")
  • Date Group Toggle
    • What it is: Special toggle for time periods
    • What it does: Changes how charts group data by time (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
  • Export (Download Elements)
    • What they are: Buttons that save or share dashboard content
    • What they do: Let users download data or share dashboard links
  • Display (Information Elements)
    • What they are: Components that show text or images
