Sending, scheduling, and downloading Reports/Dashboards
With JRNI Analytics you can send, schedule, and download content, such as reports (Looks) and dashboards. This enables you to share insights with your colleagues across the business, or even externally.
Downloading Dashboards and Reports (Looks)
To download an entire dashboard
- Navigate to a dashboard you wish to download.
- Click the three-dot icon on the top right corner, and then Download.
- Select your preferred format and display options, and then click Download.
To download data from a report (Look)
- Locate a report (Look).
- Click the three-dot icon and select Download Data.
- A new window will appear where you can select your chosen File Format, File Options and Filename. Click Download when ready.
Scheduling and Sending Reports (Looks) and Dashboards
You can use the Schedule and Send delivery features to share reports and dashboards with others. You can do this as a one-off to send “now,” or set up a recurring delivery.
Schedule/Send a Dashboard
- Locate a dashboard you wish to schedule for recurring delivery (or to send now).
- Click the three-dot icon, and then select Schedule Delivery.
- A new window will appear allowing you to choose recurrence (or Send Now as a one-off), recipients, format, filters, and more:
- Click the Test Now button (bottom left) to preview how the attached dashboard/report will look, before you save and schedule for anyone else.
- Click the Save button, when happy, to save and finish.
Schedule/Send a Report (Look)
- Locate a report you wish to schedule for recurring delivery (or to send now).
- Click the three-dot icon, and then select either:
- Send (to open the Send Now window), or;
- Schedule (to open the Scheduling window)
- On the respective Send/Schedule window, you can set your recurring options (if scheduling), your recipients, format, filters and more:
- Click the respective Save All or Send button to finish.
FAQs and Troubleshooting
Unable to send/schedule a Report (Look) from a Dashboard tile
If you’re trying to send/schedule a report (Look) directly from a Dashboard tile, you won’t see the send/schedule options. Instead, you’ll need to click the three-dot icon and select Explore from here to view the tile as a report (Look).
From the Explore page, you can click the cog/gear icon to find the schedule/send options.
